Once a year StepStone summons all of its staff for an international „family meeting“ in Berlin. The extraordinary conference encourages the exchange of expertise, professional experience and stories, as well as it celebrates and awards special achievements.
A busy team of experienced event planners ensured a smooth check-in and accreditation process for an audience of 1600 people arriving almost simultaneously from all over the world. This, you can imagine is not a walk in the park.
For the annual KickOff 2017 event in Berlin, StepStone decided to get Wristbanditz on board for the accreditation, guest management and guest interaction via NFC wristbands.
The combination of our “Event Cloud” software and premium NFC wristbands facilitated and secured access to the event area for participants and at the same time intensified the brand experience.
With the implementation of the NFC wristband concept, the event organizers stayed in charge of the access situation of the guest crowd at all times and also triggered the activation of an internal competition that included a check-in swipe at an Innovation Gallery. The Innovation Gallery introduced new products from three different topics that were presented by exhibitors from 6 countries – New Business, Digital Marketing, and Innovation.
Instead of the mostly one-dimensional concept of access control, we created a distinctive concept where the visitor of the conference was actively involved. In this way, Wristbanditz enabled an individual customer participation.
