The memorial service for Dr. Jane Goodall was a gathering that felt deeply human. Just the way Jane would have wished. Our hearts were filled with shared music, heartfelt voices, quiet tears and just as many smiles, embraces, and glimmers of hope.
Jane Goodall’s approach emphasizes the interconnectedness of all living things and the need for a holistic approach to conservation that includes environmental, social, and economic factors. Through the Jane Goodall Institute (JGI), her voice lives on — continuing to advocate for the planet and all who call it home.
During her lifetime she fostered a global community of compassionate and informed individuals committed to making a difference.
What remains is the thoght that every person matters. Every action makes a difference.
We will continue Jane’s work – with empathy in our hearts, responsibility in our hands, and the will to make this world a better place.

In celebration of Jane Goodall’s extraordinary life, JGI Austria hosted a deeply moving memorial service that brought together over 500 guests to honour her legacy.
