Founded by Dr. Jane Goodall, a pioneering primatologist and UN Messenger of Peace, the institute works tirelessly to protect chimpanzees and their habitats while also inspiring people to conserve the natural world. In honor of her 90th birthday, the premiere of Jane Goodall’s newest movie was celebrated.
Jane Goodall’s approach emphasizes the interconnectedness of all living things and the need for a holistic approach to conservation that includes environmental, social, and economic factors. Through her organization, the Jane Goodall Institute (JGI), she continues to advocate for the planet and its inhabitants, fostering a global community of compassionate and informed individuals committed to making a difference.
Her mission is to promote understanding and protection of great apes and their habitat, while also striving to improve the lives of people, animals, and the environment. Her work encompasses several key goals such as conservation of wildlife, environmental education, humanitarian efforts, and youth empowerment.
You Can Help Heal The World
In celebration of Jane Goodall’s 90th birthday, the JGI Austria hosted the premiere screening of the latest film, Reasons for Hope. The birthday marked a milestone in her enduring contributions to wildlife conservation and environmental education over several decades.
The movie immersed the audience in stories such as the migration of the Northern Bald Ibis across the Alps, the reintroduction of the American bison by the Blackfeet Nation, the world-famous Sudbury Reenactment Story and inspiring youth initiatives involved in Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots.
500 guests came to celebrate Jane Goodall’s birthday and her impressive achievements. For safer access and to inspire the audience with one of Jane’s powerful quotes at the movie premiere in Linz, Event Wristbands were needed. A perfect task for our Elegant Satin Secure Lock Wristbands.
