About

Founded by Dr. Jane Goodall, a pioneering primatologist and UN Messenger of Peace, the institute works tirelessly to protect chimpanzees and their habitats while also inspiring people to conserve the natural world. In honor of her 90th birthday, the premiere of Jane Goodall’s newest movie was celebrated.

Jane Goodall’s approach emphasizes the interconnectedness of all living things and the need for a holistic approach to conservation that includes environmental, social, and economic factors.

Her mission is to promote understanding and protection of great apes and their habitat, while also striving to improve the lives of people, animals, and the environment. In her  work the naturalist focuses on several key goals such as conservation of wildlife, environmental education, humanitarian efforts, and youth empowerment.

The Jane Goodall Institute Austria (JGI Austria) is managed by a dedicated team of eight women and was founded in 2003 in Vienna.

In celebration of Jane Goodall’s 90th birthday, JGI Austria hosted the premiere screening of the latest film, Reasons for Hope. We proudly provided wristbands that served as entry tickets and as messengers for one of Jane Goodall’s memorable quotes.

You Can Help Heal The World

On this special date, JGI Austria hosted the European premiere of Jane Goodall’s latest IMAX documentary, Reasons for Hope, at the Hollywood Megaplex in Linz. The event attracted 500 guests who came to celebrate her 90th birthday and honor her remarkable achievements.

Reasons for Hope is an inspiring IMAX documentary that showcases uplifting stories from around the globe, illustrating positive environmental and conservation efforts. Highlighting initiatives such as the Northern Bald Ibis’ migration over the Alps and the reintroduction of the American Bison by the Blackfeet Nation, the film emphasizes the potential for positive change.

The documentary reinforces Jane Goodall’s four pillars of hope: the amazing human intellect, the resilience of nature, the power and dedication of young people, and the indomitable human spirit. Through these pillars, the film encourages viewers to contribute to a better future for the planet

For safer access and to inspire the audience with one of Jane’s powerful quotes at the movie premiere in Linz secure wristbands were needed. A perfect task for our elegant satin wristbands.

Our Approach

Elevate Good Cause Vibes

Definitely Yes!

When we were approached to support this project we were delighted to confirm. It is a privilege to collaborate with individuals and institutions dedicated to making the world a better place, and we are eager to be a part of that mission. Absolutely.

Responsible Sourcing

Most of our products are sourced and pre-produced in Germany and Switzerland, before being refined and finished in Vienna, Austria. Our suppliers are more than just producers; they infuse their unique energy into each item, which is beautifully reflected in the final results.

Inspire And Be Inspired

Encouragement and motivation are mutual forces. Our primary mission is to create products that inspire our customers and their audiences. When this inspiration is mirrored back to us and spreads to others, it signifies a positive impact. This is beneficial not only for our business but also for the world at large.

Conclusion

Jane Goodall eloquently states that “the resilience of nature is amazing. If you give it time, maybe some help, plants and animals can return.” We believe that such impactful messages are essential should be more prevalent in order to inspire and drive collective action.
